• VOD clipping for CMAF VOD media: You can now create new clips directly from existing CMAF VOD media items without retranscoding, preserving quality while reducing processing time.

We’ve improved the Property settings page to make monetization and content protection features easier to find and manage.

New Features

For customers monetizing content with SSAI or securing their media with JWX content protection features, several property-level settings have been reorganized to improve discoverability and navigation:

• Server-side ad insertion (SSAI) has been moved into the new Monetization section.
• Georestrictions, URL signing, and Digital Rights Management (DRM) are now grouped under a new Content protection section.

Use this new dataset to gain more insights about ad serving performance.

We've enhanced the Broadcast Live (BCL) Live Monitoring page with real-time viewer metrics, giving users instant visibility into viewer engagement for live BCL streams. 

New Features

When BCL streams are live, the player windows in the Live Monitoring page will now display:

• Live viewer count in the player window (next to the Live button)
• Live viewer count on hover-over (below the stream ID)
• Viewer count updates automatically every 5 seconds

The viewer count is calculated from CDN delivery data (streaming traffic), not from player-side analytics events.

We’ve added a JSON Editor to Strategy Rules, giving you direct access to the underlying settings for Advertising, Media Curation, and Player UX configurations.

New Feature 

The JSON Editor provides visibility into how strategies are defined and gives advanced users greater control when dashboard fields do not cover a specific use case:

• View the full configuration structure
• Modify supported fields not exposed as dashboard controls
• Apply precise adjustments for advanced scenarios
