The Keep watching player has been moved to the Dynamic Strategy Rules Advertising settings and now supports an additional trigger based on ad playback during a media item.

New Feature

When Dynamic Ads use a 1:1 Maximized ad rule, the Keep Watching button and countdown appear once the required ad-to-content duration ratio is reached during playback:

• If the viewer clicks Keep Watching, playback of the current video continues.
• If the viewer does not click the button before the countdown ends, the player advances to the next video, starting a new session and resetting the ad time.

We’ve released updates to Dynamic Strategy Rules that improve targeting precision, make large item sets easier to manage, and expand trigger-based controls for playback and advertising behavior.

Updated Condition Branch and Trigger Condition Operators

We've improved clarity and consistency across conditions:

• Renamed the Excludes operator to Does Not Contain.
• Added the Does Not Contain operator anywhere a Contains operator is available.

These updates make condition logic easier to understand and apply across strategies.

Sort & Filter Enhancements on List Pages

As the number of your strategies increases, finding the right item should be fast and intuitive. List pages now support sorting, filtering, and search:

New Trigger Action to Disable Keep Watching for Current Item

A new trigger action is available to control Keep Watching behavior at the item level:

• Action Type: Player / Playback
• Action: Disable Keep Watching for Current Item

This action applies only to the current item and does not affect subsequent playback.

New Trigger Actions for Dynamic Ads Control

New trigger actions provide more granular control over Dynamic Ads behavior across playback sessions.

For Action type: Advertising, the following Actions are available.

You can now retrieve the placement_name and country_code metrics in your Dynamic Strategy Rules analytics.

New Feature

The placement_name metric supplements the existing placement_id metric, while the country_code metric provides additional granularity alongside the US_UK_OR_ROW metric. Both metrics can now be included when querying data through Data Sharing.

For Dynamic Strategy Rules, we've introduced more precise page URL targeting and resolved several display bugs.

• Condition branches now support the Ends With operator for the Page URL condition to allow for more precise targeting.

Bug Fixes

• The display of long names within a Dynamic Strategy Rules (DSR) decision tree has been improved.
• On the DSR Advertising page, the descriptions of Dynamic Ads has been improved.

We’ve introduced built-in analytics for Dynamic Strategy Rules to make performance tracking more actionable.

Dynamic Strategy Rules analytics gives you insights to adjust and improve strategy performance:

• View traffic flow across rule branches and compare performance between strategy versions, all within a decision tree. 
• Access node-specific data in tabular (with optional .csv export) or visual format. 

You can now include gpid and pos fields in bid requests for Player Bidding.

New Feature

Player Bidding now supports the imp.ext.gpid (Global Placement ID) and pos (Ad Position) fields. These optional values give demand partners better context about where an impression appears, improving targeting and consistency across platforms.

• gpid: Publisher-defined string that uniquely identifies an ad placement across platforms and SSPs
• pos: IAB-defined ad position type, which indicates the location of the ad within the content

We’ve enhanced Dynamic Strategy Rules by making workflows more intuitive, expanding A/B testing support, enabling Connatix playlists, and improving overall usability.

New Features

• Run A/B tests with more variants now that traffic splits support up to 15 branches.
• Improved visibility of user traffic flows within a Strategy Rules Tree.
  • All traffic split and condition branches must now be added before all experience outcomes on the tree.
• Connatix playlists can be used within the Partnership experience.
• To minimize strategy creation errors and ensure the best user experience, each strategy must pass the following validations, when applicable:
  • Triggers that load a Partnership experience on an Ad no fill event must also include the trigger condition Ad Position Is Pre.
  • All key-value pairs must be lowercase.
  • Ad tag keys must be lowercase and use single-string values.
  • Page domains and URLs must be properly formatted and exclude protocols such as https:// and http://.
  • A strategy must be deliverable and not deleted to be linked to a placement.
  • Player UX name must be filled out.
• The readability of the Strategy Rules Advertising page has been improved.

Bug Fixes

• The Replace player with custom code option is removed from the Custom Codeexperience. 
  • To achieve the same result, configure a trigger with multiple actions to remove the player and execute custom code.
• When creating a new condition branch, the system opens the first branch when no other branches are defined for ease of entry
• Explanation text correctly displays in the list view for Strategy Rule pages.
• On the Media Curation tab, the media name displays instead of the media ID.

We've enhanced placement creation and management for a smoother experience.

New Feature

You can now create, link, and unlink placements, as well as view placement embed scripts, directly from the strategy tree.

We've introduced a new strategy panel to enhance usability.

A new side panel lets you define a strategy name during creation and edit it later if needed. This improves workflow and clarity. Additional strategy settings will be introduced in future updates.
