Dynamic Strategy Rules: New Features and Bug Fixes
Dynamic Strategy Rules now include unsaved change alerts, better trigger validation, and precise content-to-ads ratios. We’ve also addressed several bugs.
New Features
- Dynamic Strategy Rules pages now alert you about unsaved changes, prompting you to save before leaving.
- In the Dynamic Strategy Rules Library, the Partnership Experience now displays Media Curation settings in a read-only view.
Within a trigger, the Switch to Partnership Experience action now includes validation rules for proper setup:
- If the Trigger type is Advertising and the Trigger event is Ad no fill, the Event trigger conditions must be set to Ad Position Is Pre.
- By default, the Remove Player action is part of the Switch to Partnership Experience action. It does not need to be added manually.
- Dynamic Ads ad rules now allow setting the Content to ads ratio with precision to one decimal place.
- Media conditions are now exclusively available within Event trigger conditions.
- Triggers can only be added after a JW video experience in a strategy tree.
Bug Fixes
- In the Dynamic Strategy Rules Library, existing JWP players can be located and imported when creating a new player UX.
- In the Dynamic Strategy Rules Library, links to documentation open in a new tab.
- On the Placements page, placements require a name for creation.
- On the Playlist tab of a Media curation page, the Type: Single media dropdown list displays correctly.
