Use a new dataset to gain more insights about Dynamic Strategy Rules.

New Feature

You can now easily access daily rollups of your Dynamic Strategy Rules through a single dataset: Strategy Rules Placement Daily.

The Audience retention panel has been removed from the a media's details page.

Deprecation

To track viewer retention metrics, you can still create a custom report that provides insights into viewer behavior across different completion thresholds.

1. Create a new report.
2. Select engagement metrics:
   • Under Metrics, click Engagement.
   • Select Complete rate, 25% completes, 50% completes, and 75% completes.
3. Select the data groupings:
   • Under Group by, click Content.
   • Select Media.
   • Click Date/Time. 
   • Select Upload date.

You can now analyze viewer engagement through the Server-Side Play Session dataset, available in Data Sharing.

This dataset contains rows of data with attributes that pertain to a specific user watching a specific video fetched from the JWP content delivery network (CDN).

You can now apply the ad viewability rate metric to reports.

New Feature

The ad viewability rate metric can now be added when creating a Custom Report and querying data through Data Sharing. This metric provides insight into how many ads are viewable of all ads served.

You can now set up Data Sharing through your JWP dashboard and the OTT Play Sessions dataset has been updated.

• After access has been enabled, you can log in to your JWP dashboard and set up Data Sharing. Contact your JWP representative to request access.
  
  
• The OTT Play Sessions Data Sharing dataset has been updated to batch by date to improve query performance and match the regular Play Sessions Data Sharing dataset.
    
  When a play session crosses multiple (US - Eastern) dates, group the queried metrics by Play ID and Media ID. For example, if two rows have the same Play ID, SUM these rows to determine the total time watched for the session.
