FAST analytics now include a Channel ID field, making it easier to attribute streaming and ad insertion activity to individual FAST channels.

New Feature

A new Channel ID (channel_id) parameter is now available in FAST analytics, giving you a unique identifier for each FAST channel (also known as a Pop-up Channel). The parameter is populated only for VOD or live media items that belong to a FAST channel and is NULL for all other media items.

The channel_id column is available across the following analytics datasets:

• Streaming Data
• Streaming Monthly Aggregates
• Ad Insertion Data
• Ad Insertion Monthly Aggregates

FAST channel data is also available in the JWX dashboard:

• Custom reports include a new FAST Channel (Yes/No) dimension.
• The Analytics Overview page now lets you filter the Streaming and Ad Insertion tabs by FAST channel from the Media format filter.
